Beauford cars are as individual as their owners, If your car has any special features that you feel may be of interest to other members, please send us a photo, and may be we can all admire it on this page.  A few words of explanation can go with it but try to keep it short, just who you are, and one or two things about the car will do. Send to Liz Ovenden or email to liz.ovenden@beaufordclub.org.uk. If you have a digital camera, that's ideal. If you send photos and would like them returned, please enclose an SAE

Bob and Helen Claxton's Beauford has now been on the road for 12 years and is still reliable and great fun. Motoring in France is a real pleasure and the photo shows the car at Carcassonne in the south. The French love them!

Dean & Sarah say:- "We have done many Weddings in the Northants area, and now we have the Beauford, the response to our new addition has been fantastic "

Max Hemmingway says:-
"I built this 4 door long bodied version for my Wedding Car  business. It has a 2.4 injected Nissan engine, took two years to build and was registered in May 2008.
It is already proving very popular with Brides to be!"

AGELESS

Pictured above are two of  Steve Foxley’s wedding cars. The 4-Door was built in 2007, and the 2-door on the left is an early example which has been on the road for over 30 years!

It is not difficult to see why these cars are so popular and continue to command a high value irrespective of their age. With their GRP body and heavy steel frame, rust is rarely a problem, and with reasonable care can retain their looks and seem to go on indefinitely. Indeed most owners of the older cars can see their pride and joy appreciate in value over the years. No worries about negative equity with a Beauford!

This 2-door was built in 1977. An amateur build, based on an Mk4 Cortina with a Datsun 2.8zx engine and gearbox. It is a testament to the original builder that the car can still turn heads after 20-odd years on the road. Now owned by Mark Wright who purchased the car in July 2009 for use in his wedding hire fleet
